Propolis extract (EPP-AF®), zinc (zinc oxide), gloss agent (vegetable oil and glaceant carnauba wax), vitamin D (cholecalciferol), sweeteners maltitol syrup, sorbitol and steviol glycosides (Stévia), gelling gelatin, acidulants lactic acid and citric acid, natural flavoring.

Green propolis is special for two main reasons: Africanized bees and unique sources of Brazilian flora. It is produced from exudates collected by bees, exclusively from a plant native to Brazil, the Baccharis dracunculifolia, popularly known as “Vassourinha” or “Alecrim do Campo”.
Thus, green propolis has some special active substances that can only be found in this type of propolis, namely Artepelin C, and many researchers attribute a large part of its activities to this compound.
Considering the high amount of Artepelin C present in this propolis, in addition to other active compounds, the commercial value of Brazilian green propolis in the international market is very high.
Several studies indicate that, in addition to the traditional components of propolis, Artepelin C is responsible for adding the following properties to green propolis: antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antitumor, antioxidant and immunomodulatory.
Adequate intake of essential micronutrients is necessary for the immunological system to work efficiently. Deficiency in the consumption of these nutrients’ compromises immunity, affecting both the responses regulated by T cells and the responses of innate and adaptive immunity of antibodies.
In this context, zinc is a mineral that plays a key role in many biological processes, including the immune system, assisting in its functioning and the process of cell division. And vitamin D is very important for muscle function and, like vitamin C, helps the immune system function.
