The Apis Flora's Green Propolis 70 Extract is produced exclusively with high-quality green propolis, which is obtained from a native Brazilian plant, Baccharis dracunculifolia, popularly known as Vassourinha or Alecrim do Campo.
It is an alcoholic extract with the highest concentration among Apis Flora’s line of propolis extracts, produced with 70% of green propolis in natura.

The Green Propolis 70 Extract has 25% w/v of Minimum Dry Extract, being 2.5x more concentrated than the conventional Green Propolis Extract from Apis Flora and, in addition, it is a standardized extract, undergoing the exclusive Apis Flora standardization process in its manufacturing process.
Thus, Apis Flora's Green Propolis 70 Extract is an EPP-AF® extract (Apis Flora's Standardized Propolis Extract). All that means that it has a chemically and biologically characterized extract in its composition, which undergoes over 100 quality control analyses, ensuring a contaminant-free, authentic and high-quality product.
Furthermore, EPP-AF®-standardized extracts have proven pre-clinical and clinical efficacy and safety, ensuring excellence in terms of a natural product.

Green propolis is special for two main reasons: Africanized bees and unique sources of Brazilian flora. It is produced from exudates collected by bees, exclusively from a plant native to Brazil, the Baccharis dracunculifolia, popularly known as “Vassourinha” or “Alecrim do Campo”.
Thus, green propolis has some special active substances that can only be found in this type of propolis, namely Artepelin C, and many researchers attribute a large part of its activities to this compound.
Considering the high amount of Artepelin C present in this propolis, in addition to other active compounds, the commercial value of Brazilian green propolis in the international market is very high.
Several studies indicate that, in addition to the traditional components of propolis, Artepelin C is responsible for adding the following properties to green propolis: antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antitumor, antioxidant and immunomodulatory.
